Aberdeen overview

Cosmopolitan and remote Aberdeen is one of Scotland’s premier cities. It is also pretty wealthy on account of its stepping stone status to the oil-rich North Sea. While not quite on par with the likes of Edinburgh or Glasgow, Aberdeen offers a unique stay owing to its collection of granite structures and buzzing nightlife. The main highlight is the Fun Beach during the summer months where there are many attractions fronting its promenade that open year-round. Aberdeen city centre is populated by a huge range of shops, eateries and bars and also comes with some of Scotland’s foremost historical sights and gardens. Aberdeen is also close to the Malt Whiskey Trail and has an airport.
